Chef / Kitchen Manager
Full time Kitchen Manager position open in Center City.
We are seeking an ambitious individual who has a passion for scatch-cooking to lead daily kitchen operations at our Center City location. Upon joining the team you will work directly with our amazing Culinary Director and receive dedicated immersion training on the variety of systems we've carefully created over the last three years to manage our kitchen operations. These include: Recipe Mastery, Daily Food Production, Catering Fulfillment, Inventory Control, Food Ordering, Food Cost Management, and Kitchen Upkeep & Maintenance. When you complete training (typically takes approx 30 days), you will be fully qualified to run and manage a Real Food Eatery kitchen with the daily support of our Culinary Director and the store's General Manager. We are a growing company and this role has the strong potential to grow and evolve with time and mastery.
Some Basic Requirements: You must be able to lift a 50lb box, spend most of the day on your feet, and have command of the english language so that you can communicate with staff, food vendors, and management. This is a day-time position. You must be open-minded and eager to learn. Serve Safe is strongly preferred.
